Insurance for the unexpected

Effective financial planning isn’t just about maximising your wealth for your future plans. It’s about protecting that future too. Life is unexpected and often throws challenges at us when we least expect them. That’s why we plan for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Insurance is simply about putting your mind at ease. What if something happens, financial or otherwise? Will you and your family - and your lifestyle - be secure?

There are lots of different types of insurance available and most, you won’t need. We’ll help you find the products that you do.

We look at the options that work for you - that balance your future concerns with your financial circumstances and help you sleep easy at night. We help you secure your future.

Insurance Expertise: How We Can Help

Life insurance

If you have a mortgage or have children to look after, you might want to know that - whatever happens - your home and your kids’ future will be secure. Life insurance gives you that peace of mind.

You choose how much you’d want to be paid out in the unlikely event of your death, and how long you want the policy to last for. Then if the worst thing happens, your loved ones will get a lump sum to help ease any financial strain. You hope you’ll never need it and that your plan will end with no cash value. But it’s there just in case.

Critical illness cover

If you’re diagnosed with a serious or life-changing illness, you might not be able to work. You might need to make changes at home. And you might need to make sure your family’s future is secure.

Critical illness cover does that. It gives you a lump sum payout if you get diagnosed with something serious. You can use that money to pay off your mortgage, cover medical costs or pay for your home to be adapted. The choice is yours, with a cash payout to help you live more comfortably.

Income protection

Your long term financial plans most likely depend on you contributing regularly to your savings and investments from your salary. So what happens if you can no longer work, due to illness or injury?

Income protection insurance gives you peace of mind that if - in the unlikely event - you develop an illness or injury that stops you from earning, you will still get a regular income. It gives you that safe, regular amount of money to keep your future secure, until you can get back to work, reach retirement age, or the policy ends.

Private medical insurance

The NHS is a wonderful, essential part of our society, but as its resources continue to be stretched, you might want the option to go private. You may want to be seen quicker, or have a choice about how and where you’re treated, and by who.

Private medical insurance gives you this flexibility. It helps you get diagnosed and treated faster and more efficiently, contributing towards the cost of any private medical care. There can be lots of different restrictions and options though, but we’ll help you find the policy that suits you.

What You Need To Know:
